English Accent Game

Spanish Accent Game

Are you an expert at identifying accents from distant parts of the planet? If you think that you are then you can now test your knowledge with the fantastic Language Trainers Accent Game. All you have to do is listen to part of a poem being spoken and see if you can work out which country the person reading it is from. See how big a score you can rack up and try to make it onto our high score table.

How Do I Take Part?

Is your accent interesting, unusual or difficult to pin down? If this is the case then we would love for you to get in touch with us and take part in the Language Trainers Accent Project.
You just need to record yourself reading out a couple of line from a poem. This can either be on a video or on an audio file. If you don’t know which poem to choose then you will find some inspiration below. Otherwise, feel free to choose any one you are happy reading out. After this all you have to do is use the upload tool below to send us the file. Don’t forget to tell us where you are from, in case no one can work it out from your recording! You don’t need to worry too much about the pronunciation or if you make a mistake with any of the words. What we are interested in is your accent. After you perform the upload you will get an email confirming that we have received the file. We will then let you know if we use your poem in the game and will include a link to it as well.
In order to receive further information, you can write to [email protected]

Fire & Ice
